This customer's property sits right on the mighty Mississippi and the couple wanted to enjoy the river by day and sunsets in the evening. A solution that we came up with was a poured stamped concrete patio/deck for sunning and a point facing west to take in the sunsets. This was bordered by a hand-laid patio, and hand constructed seat wall and fire pit. Now the flood waters have no chance of washing away their beautiful patio. This was set above the highest flood stage ever recorded.
